About project
“School of Hope”
Project objective: Development of social society in Viciebsk region through sharing experience of operations of Polish non-governmental organizations and other social society structures in favour of handicapped people, strengthening the cooperation and exchange of information among non-governmental organizations from Poland and Belarus .
Project tasks:
• improving social activities of handicapped associations in Viciebsk region;
• studying and adapting the most successful Polish experiences in the framework of social and state help for handicapped;
• developing dialogues and partnership of handicapped associations with other non-governmental organizations and other social society structures in Viciebsk region;
• initiating the open social discussion on problems of handicapped in Belarus ;
• expanding the cooperation among handicapped non-governmental organizations from Poland and Belarus .
Project main directions:
• trainings;
• informative campaign.
Activity within the project :
• extension of the database on NGOs for disabled people from Viciebsk region,
• formation of the partnership network consisting of NGOs and social initiatives of disabled people,
• development of contacts with NGOs and social initiatives of disabled people in Viciebsk region,
• development of relationships among NGOs for disabled people from Viciebsk region and Polish NGOs for disabled society,
• providing the information on the project,
• educational service within “ School of Hope ”,
• counseling from NGOs for disabled people,
• monitoring of the social opinion on disabled people,
• providing help by technical means during the project realization,
• translation services.
